Spanish lessons

How I work:

I currently live in Madrid and I mostly work in-company and in one-on-one lessons, but I also have small groups (maximum 5 people), lessons at home and classes online (via GoogleMeet, Teams, Skype and other platforms). I can adapt myself to your needs and schedule and, as a freelance teacher, I can invoice for the student or student’s company, if necessary.

What I teach:

I teach Spanish lessons at all levels, from beginner to advanced, including:
. Conversation
. Grammar reinforcement
. Listening and oral skills
. Vocabulary
. Writing skills
. Spanish for specific purposes (tourism, medical, work, university)
. DELE preparation (from A1 to C2).
. Spanish and Latin American culture

Choose the type of lesson you want to have and we will make a plan according to your preferences. My classes are always adapted to the student’s needs, pace and objectives.

How I teach:

My lessons are based on the communicative approach, and entirely taught in Spanish (except for practical issues, when we can use ).

I try to emphasize the importance of communication (which must be our goal when leaning a foreign language), and that is why I do a lot of practice on oral skills. However, I am also aware of the different objectives people have when learning a language (work, travelling, academic language, university), so I always try to adapt myself to every student’s pace and need. I always offer a level test prior to my lessons in order to assess the student’s level; then I start making a syllabus that we can modify later on, depending on our time, availability and so on.

I have worked a lot to create my own materials and I like to use them in my lessons, as well as some other materials and resources that I take from different books and sites. Spanish might be difficult language to learn but, if you are truly willing to learn, you will get to speak better than Spaniards do!
